So nice to have time for this blog again! Life got a little bananas there for a few months and I needed to take some time to get through some stuff but now I can get back to my fun little project!
The weather this spring in Toronto has also been bananas! It’s been all over the map temperature wise and we’ve had so much rain I was beginning to think that summer was going to miss us this year! Thankfully it’s warmed up, the sun is shinning and life is good.
It’s so cold outside and all I want to do is eat delicious comfort foods like pancakes! Other than white rice all other grains are restricted on the SIBO diet that I’m following, so flour is a no no. How am I going to get my pancake fix without flour?! Thanks to a quick search online I discovered a few grain-free pancake recipes that consist of eggs and bananas, whew there is hope!
Two weeks to go! I’m nearing the end of a 10 week SIBO diet and I have to say I’m feeling amazing. Better than I have in over a year. It’s been a long journey to get to this point and I’m working at embracing the ‘work in progress’ of getting here but it feels really nice to finally feel good and have a great relationship with food again.
